Many people think faith and science belong to two different worlds. One speaks of belief, the other of proof. But when we look closely, both are actually searching for the same truth to understand the reality of the universe and the purpose behind it.
The Qur’an is full of verses that invite human beings to explore, reflect, and use their intellect. It was the Qur’an that first turned curiosity into a form of worship. When Allah says, “Do they not look at the heavens and the earth?” (Surah Al-A’raf 7:185), He is commanding us to study the natural world. This is the essence of science, observation, reflection, and discovery.
In the early centuries of Islam, scholars like Ibn al-Haytham, Al-Biruni, and Avicenna studied the universe with deep faith in Allah. They never separated science from spirituality. For them, every formula, every star, and every experiment was a way to understand the Creator more deeply.
Today’s modern science continues to uncover how perfectly designed this universe is. Whether it is the balance of gravity, the laws of physics, or the complexity of the human body, every discovery points to a divine order. Science may explain how things happen, but faith explains why.
Bridging faith and modern science means finding harmony between revelation and reason. It is about realizing that the One who revealed the Qur’an is the same One who created the universe. The more we study the world, the more we discover the signs of Allah in every atom and every star.
ایمان اور جدید سائنس کا تعلق
اکثر لوگ سمجھتے ہیں کہ ایمان اور سائنس دو الگ دنیاؤں سے تعلق رکھتے ہیں۔ ایک ایمان کی بات کرتا ہے اور دوسرا ثبوت کی۔ مگر جب ہم گہرائی میں دیکھتے ہیں تو دونوں کا مقصد ایک ہی ہے, کائنات کی حقیقت اور اس کے پسِ منظر میں موجود مقصد کو سمجھنا۔
قرآن کریم میں بے شمار آیات ہیں جو انسان کو غور و فکر، تحقیق اور عقل کے استعمال کی دعوت دیتی ہیں۔ دراصل قرآن ہی نے جستجو کو عبادت کا درجہ دیا۔ جب اللہ فرماتا ہے: “کیا وہ آسمانوں اور زمین کی طرف نہیں دیکھتے؟” (سورۃ الاعراف 7:185)، تو یہ ہمیں سائنسی مشاہدے اور تحقیق کی طرف بلاتا ہے۔
اسلام کے ابتدائی ادوار میں مسلمان علماء جیسے ابن الہیثم، البیرونی اور ابن سینا نے اللہ پر ایمان رکھتے ہوئے کائنات کا مطالعہ کیا۔ ان کے نزدیک سائنس اور روحانیت الگ چیزیں نہیں تھیں بلکہ ہر تحقیق خالق کو سمجھنے کا ایک ذریعہ تھی۔
آج کی جدید سائنس بھی اسی حقیقت کو ظاہر کر رہی ہے کہ یہ کائنات کمال توازن کے ساتھ تخلیق کی گئی ہے۔ کششِ ثقل کے قوانین ہوں، فزکس کے اصول یا انسانی جسم کی پیچیدگیاں، ہر چیز ایک خدائی نظام کی طرف اشارہ کرتی ہے۔ سائنس ہمیں یہ بتاتی ہے کہ چیزیں کیسے ہوتی ہیں، جبکہ ایمان یہ بتاتا ہے کہ کیوں۔
ایمان اور سائنس کے درمیان پل باندھنا دراصل وحی اور عقل کے درمیان ہم آہنگی پیدا کرنا ہے۔ کیونکہ جس نے قرآن کو نازل کیا، وہی اس کائنات کا خالق ہے۔ جب ہم کائنات کا مطالعہ کرتے ہیں تو ہر ذرے اور ہر ستارے میں اللہ کی نشانیوں کو دیکھ سکتے ہیں۔
