The origin of the universe has always been one of the most fascinating mysteries in science. According to the Big Bang Theory, the entire universe began from one extremely hot and dense point around 13.8 billion years ago. From that single point, space, time, and matter began to expand rapidly, forming stars, galaxies, and planets. Even today, scientists observe that the universe is still expanding. This theory changed the way we understand our existence and the creation of everything around us.
Quranic Connection
Long before science discovered this concept, the Holy Quran had already described it in a remarkable way. Allah says in Surah Al-Anbiya (21:30):
أَوَلَمْ يَرَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقًا فَفَتَقْنَاهُمَا وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ حَيٍّ أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
Translation:
“Have those who disbelieved not seen that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?” (Surah Al-Anbiya, 21:30)
This verse gives a clear and beautiful description that the heavens and the earth were once together and were later separated. This perfectly matches the concept of the Big Bang, where everything in the universe was once united in a single point before it expanded. Such harmony between the Quran and modern science reminds us that the Quran encourages reflection, questioning, and exploration. It shows that seeking knowledge is part of faith.
Reflection
The Big Bang is not just a scientific explanation, but a reminder of Allah’s power and wisdom. Every discovery we make about the universe brings us closer to understanding His greatness. When we study the skies, stars, and galaxies, we are actually reflecting upon the signs of Allah spread across the universe. The Quran tells us to think, observe, and ponder — because knowledge and faith are deeply connected. Exploring the universe, therefore, becomes not only a scientific effort but also a spiritual journey that strengthens our belief in the Creator.
بگ بینگ تھیوری – کائنات کی تخلیق قرآن کی روشنی میں
سائنسی تصور
کائنات کی ابتدا ہمیشہ سے سائنس کے سب سے دلچسپ رازوں میں سے ایک رہی ہے۔ بگ بینگ تھیوری کے مطابق پوری کائنات ایک نہایت گرم اور گھنے نقطے سے تقریباً 13.8 ارب سال پہلے وجود میں آئی۔ اسی نقطے سے خلا، وقت اور مادہ تیزی سے پھیلنے لگے اور ستارے، کہکشائیں اور سیارے بننے لگے۔ آج بھی سائنسدان اس بات کا مشاہدہ کرتے ہیں کہ کائنات مسلسل پھیل رہی ہے۔ اس نظریے نے انسان کے وجود اور کائنات کی تخلیق کے تصور کو بدل کر رکھ دیا۔
قرآنی تعلق
جدید سائنس کے اس نظریے کے دریافت ہونے سے بہت پہلے قرآنِ مجید نے اسی حقیقت کو نہایت خوبصورت انداز میں بیان کیا۔
اللہ تعالیٰ سورۃ الانبیاء (21:30) میں فرماتا ہے:
أَوَلَمْ يَرَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقًا فَفَتَقْنَاهُمَا وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ حَيٍّ أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
ترجمہ:
“کیا وہ لوگ نہیں دیکھتے کہ آسمان اور زمین آپس میں جڑے ہوئے تھے، پھر ہم نے ان دونوں کو جدا کر دیا اور ہر زندہ چیز کو پانی سے پیدا کیا؟ کیا وہ ایمان نہیں لاتے؟” (سورۃ الانبیاء، 21:30)
یہ آیت واضح طور پر بتاتی ہے کہ آسمان و زمین کبھی ایک ساتھ تھے اور بعد میں الگ کیے گئے۔ یہ بیان بگ بینگ کے سائنسی نظریے سے حیرت انگیز طور پر میل کھاتا ہے، جس میں بتایا گیا ہے کہ کائنات ایک ہی نقطے سے پھیلنا شروع ہوئی۔ قرآن اور سائنس کی یہ مطابقت ہمیں یاد دلاتی ہے کہ علم حاصل کرنا ایمان کا حصہ ہے اور تخلیق پر غور کرنا عبادت ہے۔
تدبر و غور و فکر
بگ بینگ صرف ایک سائنسی نظریہ نہیں بلکہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی قدرت اور حکمت کی نشانی ہے۔ جب ہم کائنات کے پھیلاؤ اور نظام پر غور کرتے ہیں تو ہمیں اندازہ ہوتا ہے کہ ہر چیز ایک مکمل توازن کے ساتھ چل رہی ہے۔ قرآن ہمیں سوچنے، سمجھنے اور غور کرنے کی دعوت دیتا ہے تاکہ ہمارا ایمان مضبوط ہو۔ کائنات کا مطالعہ صرف سائنسی کوشش نہیں بلکہ روحانی سفر بھی ہے جو ہمیں اپنے خالق کے قریب لے جاتا ہے۔
