When we look at the sky, it seems simple just a blue cover stretched above us. But in reality, the sky is one of the most complex and magnificent creations of Allah. Every cloud, color, and layer holds a purpose and reflects divine wisdom.
The Qur’an reminds us again and again to reflect upon the sky. In Surah Adh-Dhariyat (51:47), Allah says: “And We built the heaven with strength, and indeed, We are expanding it.” This verse not only speaks about the power of creation but also hints at the continuous expansion of the universe, something science discovered much later.
The sky acts as a perfect system designed by the Creator. It provides protection to the Earth through the atmosphere, filters harmful radiation, regulates temperature, and supports the water cycle through clouds and rain. Without this divine structure, life on Earth could not exist.
Scientists describe the layers of the atmosphere : the troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, and others but the Qur’an already mentioned “seven heavens” (Sab’a Samawat), a concept that beautifully aligns with the multi-layered design of the sky.
When we observe the harmony and balance of the sky, we realize it is not random. It is a sign of intelligent design, a reminder of the power and perfection of Allah. Every sunrise, sunset, and star we see above is a silent message inviting us to reflect, to wonder, and to believe.
آسمان – ایک خدائی نظام
جب ہم آسمان کو دیکھتے ہیں تو وہ ایک سادہ سا نیلا پردہ معلوم ہوتا ہے جو ہمارے اوپر پھیلا ہوا ہے۔ مگر حقیقت میں آسمان اللہ کی سب سے حیرت انگیز اور پیچیدہ تخلیقات میں سے ایک ہے۔ ہر بادل، ہر رنگ اور ہر تہہ ایک خاص مقصد رکھتی ہے اور اللہ کی حکمت کی عکاسی کرتی ہے۔
قرآن بار بار انسان کو آسمان پر غور و فکر کرنے کی دعوت دیتا ہے۔ سورۃ الذاریات (51:47) میں اللہ فرماتا ہے:
“اور ہم نے آسمان کو قوت کے ساتھ بنایا اور ہم ہی اس کو وسعت دینے والے ہیں۔”
یہ آیت نہ صرف تخلیق کی طاقت کو بیان کرتی ہے بلکہ کائنات کے پھیلاؤ کی طرف بھی اشارہ کرتی ہے جسے سائنس نے بہت بعد میں دریافت کیا۔
آسمان ایک مکمل نظام ہے جو خالق نے بڑی حکمت کے ساتھ ترتیب دیا ہے۔ یہ زمین کو فضا کے ذریعے محفوظ رکھتا ہے، نقصان دہ شعاعوں کو روکتا ہے، درجہ حرارت کو متوازن رکھتا ہے اور بادلوں و بارش کے ذریعے پانی کے نظام کو قائم رکھتا ہے۔ اگر یہ خدائی ڈھانچہ نہ ہوتا تو زمین پر زندگی ممکن نہ رہتی۔
سائنسدان فضا کی مختلف تہوں کو بیان کرتے ہیں جیسے ٹروپوسفیئر، اسٹریٹوسفیئر اور میسوسفیئر، جبکہ قرآن پہلے ہی “سات آسمانوں” کا ذکر کرتا ہے جو اس کثیر سطحی نظام کی خوبصورت مطابقت ظاہر کرتا ہے۔
جب ہم آسمان کے توازن اور ہم آہنگی پر غور کرتے ہیں تو سمجھ آتا ہے کہ یہ سب کچھ اتفاق سے نہیں بلکہ ایک کامل منصوبے کے تحت ہے۔ ہر طلوعِ آفتاب، ہر غروبِ آفتاب اور ہر چمکتا ستارہ دراصل ایک خاموش پیغام ہے جو ہمیں غور و فکر کرنے، حیران ہونے اور ایمان لانے کی دعوت دیتا ہے۔
